2010 g37x.. maserati wheels

Hey yall.. picking up a fully stock 2010 g37x tomorrow. Need new tires anyway so figured I'd ditch the stock 17's and had a question

I came across a set of maserati wheels locally.. they are 19 inch Maserati rims with Pirelli 285/35/19 rear 245/40/19 front P zero Rosso ($800 for the set, with almost new tires). My research is showing they will fit but figured I would check. Any issues here? Thanks

Need to check the center bore of the wheels. From what I see, we have the same bolt pattern (5x114.3) but their CB is slightly larger at 67.1 while ours is 66.1. Not a big deal, you can pick up some hub ring adapters and you should be good to go. Otherwise you will feel some vibration while driving.

Also make sure the offset is not too high or low.

^ That. I'd be worried about offset. And since you have awd, check the circumference match between F and R tires (I'm too lazy to pull up a calculator right now :P).
If the diameter matches, try on one F and one R and see how they fit. Or get the official specs for the wheels (offsets) and post them here.

Thread size could also be an issue, ours is 12x1.25

Thanks. Maybe I should hold off then. Can buy stock m37 18's locally that obviously will fit but they just don't really pop like I wanted.

Look for a set of 19" G37 coupe sport wheels, they are probably the best looking design to go with the sedan. Costs around $800-1000 with good tires, depending on condition. The older 10-spoke design is cheaper, $600-800 for a decent set.

The wheels should fit without issues. They might sit a few mm further into your wheel wells so you'll need spacers to make them stand out.
Since the bolt thread is different, you'll need to reuse your current lugs or get a set of aftermarket ones (because stock ones are fat and might not fit).
Personally, I'd probably not bother.
Check out the classified section - there is a sticky with a sh*t ton of local deals. "Under 1k" budget might be tough, but not impossible.

would be any issues with the g37 tpms on the maserati wheels?

This is OP, I bought the wheels.. but the threads are too short. Going down to garage to take a look. Looks like, hopefully, I will be able to use extended lug nuts so they will reach the threads. If any input/advice please let me know.

No dice.. thread sits right up against the wheel hole.. no room for extended lug nuts. Only thing I can do is bore out the hole on the wheel so it's recessed and it exposes the thread or replace the threads entirely. Either case probably not worth it

That sucks. Sorry if I gave you false hope. Didn't think there would be that much depth difference between various wheels. :|

Theoretically you could have some custom machined adapter/spacers, or with a wide enough search you may be able to find some that would work. The ones with bolts built-in will be a minimum of 15mm thick to allow enough thickness for the fastening nuts to sit just below the spacer surface. If those wheels will still fit inside the fender ok with an additional 15-20 mm spacing it may be worth some research. Be sure to request hubcentric spacer/adapters as this will eliminate or significantly reduce the chance for vibration at higher speeds. Good Luck
