Hi guys my name is Joey, im new to the site and wanted to show you my suspension adventure! the pics below show it pretty much stock. I recently purchased Vossens cv-1 20x9.5 front 20x10.5 rear and love em. The car is seating alittle too high (jeep status) and now im trying to figure out what are the best springs for me. I've done alot of reading on this site about this particular model (awd sedan) seeing fellow owners struggles lol. I think eibachs ride have to much of a gap for me so im not sure what would be good for me. Im looking to buy a rear camber and toe bolt kit and springs.

any feedback would be great thanks guys.

I have the Eibach Pro Kit on my X coupe and definitely hear ya about the gap. Unfortunately the X model is tougher to shop for. I've been raining about going with the H&R springs myself and considered the Tein S but the issue is they awesome meant for rwd cars and our awd cars are heavier so the drop may be a bit to much.

Honestly the best thing would be saving up some money and doing it the best way by getting a set of coilovers. The best awd setup coils, according to reviews that's I've read, are the Stance SS and Fortune 500.

thanks for the welcome! I totally agree with you on coilovers but I might aswell get the rear camber n toe bolt now, springs will ease the gap pain till I can save up because I would still need the front camber too.

 

I ordered H&R springs for my car, sohi performance canceled the order cause it was for a RWD?

 

According to the vendors I've spoken to here on the forum they would still work on our awd cars but due to the weight factor they might drop the care a little lower than for a rwd. I also plan on purchasing the H&R springs and seeing how it turns out so I'd love to see first hand by you as well your thoughts on them.

 

If you can up your budget a bit might look into KSport Coilovers, cost around $800 and you can get just the height you want. If not, the Eibach & Swift springs would be a plan.
I'd be worried that the H&Rs would drop too deep, that AWD should be a bit higher since you have that transfer case to deal with.

 

ya i think im gonna go with rear camber kit , toe bolts, and swift springs. I'll keep you guys updated with photos in the next 2-3 weeks.
