I say it's a pump, don't know for a fact. Could be Reed valve(s). I just know that cold start uses a very rich mixture and air is injected into the exhaust to help the cats take care of the extra VOCs.

Odd thing that's happened past two days. No matter what the car starts playing cd 6 song 9 like 3 minutes into the ding. Going to try and leave slot 6 empty see that that does.
