Tuning options - Helpful with 7at tranny issues

Hi folks,

Am new here, just got my 13 G37x about 20 days ago.

Love the car!

Have realized I think that the tranny issues seem to be this vehicle's achilles heel.

For those with UpRev or Ecutek experience, do the tunes help with the downshift lags and/or adaptive learning issues many have complained about?

Thank you

Hi Dirk, welcome to the site. I'll move this to the tune section for more specific replies.

Ecutek is better but wait until you get some bolt ons done like full cold air intake, full catback exhaust and test pipes or high flow cats and then tune. Maybe not even the test pipes or hfc's but at least CAI and catback

Did you have the trans reprogrammed yet by the dealer? Just ask if your trans has the latest TCM update. Mine had the delayed shifts and the update helped.

The update was done before I had uprev and now ecutek. I was stock at the time.

Just tell the dealer you have delayed shifts should be covered under warranty.
