Tire/Wheel thoughts on 2013 37x
Hey guys, first post but been lurking here for a while. Picked up a G back in Oct. and as "fate" would have it, the stock rubber is pretty much done just in time for some summer wheels and tires. I have done some *alot* of looking for a combo and I think that I have seen so much that I now know as little as I did when I started poking around. I figured I would throw it out to the masses for some suggestions based upon what I am looking for.
Thanks in advance for the input. Once I get this figured out I can move on to making the stereo sound as good as I would like it to!
- Want to upgrade from the stock 17" to 19"
- Stock ride height for now, a little lower in the future but not much. I'm old, like my back, love the way the car rides, and Chicago area roads don't make it fun.
- Have an "In" to get some Niche wheels that I like for a great deal, just would need to know proper offsets.
- Want to run a square setup, with the widest tire combo that fits without rub issues.
- Trying to figure out what color wheel to get with Platinum Silver car. Thoughts and pic appreciated as I haven't really seen a good pic of a silver car with gloss or matte black wheels
- Forgot to add that I am looking for a tire that is QUIET! Road noise drives me insane and as much as I drive, I'm already crazy enough.
Thanks in advance for the input. Once I get this figured out I can move on to making the stereo sound as good as I would like it to!

I came across an very interesting post by Brad (blnewt) regarding AWD Gs. This should likely address many of your questions.
"It's the variance in tire diameter front to back, there's plenty of staggered tires that will work but they need to be under 1% diameter variance, and the closer to zero the better
FWIW Here's the best tire combos I'd recommend for 18s/19s/20s, then pick proper wheel widths/offsets to get them to fit~
18s
235/45 & 265/40 (0.07%)
245/45 & 275/40 -0.07%
255/45 & 285/40 -0.22%
19s
235/40 & 265/35 -0.37%
235/40 & 275/35 0.67%
245/40 & 275/35 -0.52%
245/40 & 285/35 0.51%
20s
235/35 & 275/30 0.07%
245/35 & 285/30 -0.07%

Fortunately I can get the Niche wheels at at price where I won't be too upset when my wife curbs one. I live in the burbs but as they say in Chicago, two seasons, Construction and Winter...
Was looking at the Niche Misano wheel
