Just wanted to say hi from NYC
I'm not a G owner, but it was a car I looked at before I got my 2014 370z Nismo. I've had the 370z since early last year. I came from a 2007 350z, so I felt more at home with a step up to the newer generation, but I still have a lot of love for the G37 and I browse this forum on a daily basis. There's a lot of good content here that even I find useful when it comes to my Z. On the other hand, I also would like to contribute with useful feedback.
Anyway, would love to make it out to one of a the local Northeast meets.
Take care!

Nice ride! There's going to be a big meet up in PA this August. I'm not sure if it's G's only but I'm sure you'll be welcomed since the Z is a relative.

Nope that car was NA modded. The 07-08 350z with the HR motor had the hood bulge stock, compared to the 03-06 years. The hood was one of the things I loved about that car

You learn something new every day! That hood definitely adds subtle style to the car.
I was researching the 370z a while back and learned about the revmatch synchro mode. I haven't test driven a 370 yet, but how do you feel about it? Is it as precise as people tout or does it feel more gimmicky and annoying to a purist?

However, these days I find myself driving with it off. I will tell you that SRM is NOT gimmicky. I consider myself a manual purist and have come to the sad realization that the life of manual transmissions will soon come to an end (I won't buy a sports car if it's not available in manual). Yet, even I love SRM.
Hey all, I'm currently in the market for a g37x sedan. My budget is around $11k. I know that probably limits me to a '09 model with mileage that will be on the higher end (~80k+). It's going to be a daily driver for me. Is this budget feasible though? As much as I would want a newer body G37x with the revised headlights and bumper, I really can't exceed $11k. Appreciate the feedback!

Not a mod or anything but you may potentially be posting in the wrong section so you probably wont get much help with that in this section. That being said, Can you not finance?
Beautiful car man. Love the Nismo editions, the styling on them is so aggressive. Where are you located if you don't mind me asking. I'm near Whitestone in Queens and your area looks so familiar.
Wow haha! I'm actually in Bayside, which is why I said "near Whitestone." Usually no one has a clue what I'm talking about when I say Bayside. Maybe I'll see you around some time.
