I live in North Texas, father died, inherited large amount of $$$$$, Camero or Mustang or Infiniti ??? I can get a Camero using the GM Family First purchase program, I can get any GM vehicle at invoice price, I only have to pay for delivery cost, around $300, I could order a Corvett, but insurance is to high due to no back seat. Years ago I had a Saturn Sky, fun car, lots of HP for small car, traded for 370Z, big mistake, quality not good, traded for BMW 335i, nice car plenty of HP, had back seat so insurance was low, had to sell....needed money because I got layed off. (still have 2003 GMC Envoy, this is my bad weather car) So now I would like to get another fun driving car, I'm visiting various forums to learn the good and bad of sport car models.

Sorry about your father passing. Go for the Camaro ZL1 or Mustang Shelby GT350R. Flip a coin. Good luck.

^^ agreed even though I don't like steering people away from an Infiniti but those really would be better options. Truly sorry for your loss.

Welcome to the site, and echo the sentiments w/ your Dad. That new Camaro is torching many cars costing a lot more. The Mustang will probably hold on to it's value better since it's more limited, especially the R track pkg. Since you can get the Camaro for a discount and should be quite a bit less than the GT350 (especially since dealers are getting a lot over MSRP right now) I'd tilt towards the Camaro, seems like they're improved every aspect over last years version.
G/L w/ your choices.

How about investing your father's hard earned money until you find another job

Sorry for your loss, if $$ was not an issue I would wait for the 2017 zl1 Camaro.
