new here, searched for this but haven't came up with much
some ipl G37s come with chrome trim around fog inserts & some don't ...is this an option or just pertain to certain year ipl?

yea I bought a 2011 IPL it doesn't have the chrome trim not sure if I want to put the chrome trim on or not but I want to at least see what it will look like

I can't remember whose build thread it was, but they had the chrome and black trim on their fogs. I think a lot of that choice is going to be based on the color of your car. His car was Platinum Graphite and the black looked better for his build.

 

IPLs do not come with chrome around the fogs.
Only 2010 Anniversary edition did, and they had no fogs.

Some coupe owners who bought the IPL front bumpers after the fact, actually received anniversary/aero bumpers.
Whne I got mine that was the case, I bought black rings.
