Searching for Spare Tire Kit - 2009 G37 Convertible
I'm seeking the spare tire kit (wheel, bracket, insert, tools, jack, spinner) for my 'new to me" 2009 G37 Convertible. This has been discussed on the forums but not in a while. I posted the components for this kit here.

If any of you have it (or portions of it) for sale, or know of a source, I'd be very appreciative.
PS: Dealer is not a source - I have already done the most obvious methods of searching for this. I am not wanting to go to run-flats.
Cheers!

Last week I ordered through Ebay the OEM 18" G37s Spare tire wheel. I got it for $159.99 shipped from Florida. There were 3 sets available. There is one wheel available from another vendor on ebay. Here is the link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/08-09-10-11-12-13-INFINITI-G37-COUPE-SEDAN-SPORT-18-OEM-SPARE-TIRE-DONUT-G37XS-/190923993976?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c73f4f378
thanks much... there seems to be so many more rims than the rest of the kit, such as the bracket, bolts, jack, tool kit insert and such. I'm presuming you already had those. Do you know if they're identical between coupe and convertible, and what years are the same?

I am going to be upgrading my brakes to the Akebonos. I already had the tools, so no need for that. Did the Verts not come with a spare or tools? No bracket either? I am sure the coupe and sport share similar parts. I know the sedan toolkit holder is different than the coupe/vert. I also noticed that the spare tire mounts upside down on the coupe/vert whereas on the sedan it is mounted with the glossy finish on the top side. It might have to do with trunk size and maximizing space.

Check out the rules section about posting in the classified. Otherwise this is a good post to get info to retro fit for a spare.

$150 for rim with tire + tool set at a junk yard. $48 for trunk anchor and screw in holder. I also have space for the fix a flat kit in the divided trunk area. So I carry that around also.
I put this together because I heard I could ruin my TPMS with fix a flat. Last time I was at Infiniti, I overheard them quote $250 for one. But the junk yard has OEM for $25 used.
At least I have peace of mind I guess

TPMS have maybe a 5 year life before the batteries in them go dead.
Anything above 3/2010 is not an option for your 2009.
So when the batts go dead, is there any kind of warning? My 2009 vert is on original tires and probably original sensors (just bought so can't be sure but only 17k miles). My Camry 07 was on original TPMS sensors.
What your saying is I am already riding on dead sensors?
