When it comes to dealership prices you're always going to pay about 30/40% higher then a regular locally owned mechanic shop. Take it to a local small business shop and they'll take care of you. I hate dealing with the dealership. For example about 3 months ago my entire rack and pinion for my power steering went out on me and the dealership estimated me at $2,600 for everything given it was a new part that they were charging $1,800 for and $800 for labor. I went to my local guy and we found a refinished used one for $500 and he charged me $200 for labor. So if you ask me I saved a heck of a lot of money also it's kind of like when you go get an oil change anywhere and they inspect everything for you and end up listing every single possible detail that you need done just to make their money I'm sure most of that stuff on that paper you don't even need to fix just yet. As for your three windows not rolling up I'm assuming it may be the window motors. Do a search online they shouldn't cost much at all and shouldn't be that hard for a shop to install. But just to be on the safe side go to a local shop they'll charge you like 20 bucks to check it out if that. I live in New Jersey so we have a lot of those local owned shops everywhere I don't know how it is where you live. Best of luck with everything man and welcome to the forums and congratulations on the new G! Post up some pictures when you get a chance!

Welcome to the site! Where do you live, maybe one of the members around here that like to work on Gs can help w/ all that. Site Vendor KNSbrakes has this set which is a nice upgrade over your stock parts for $354 shipped for complete F&R rotors & pads
https://www.knsbrakes.com/c/car-seri...nce+Brake+Pads
The Stoptech pads are pretty hard biting pads, you can also go to rockauto.com & get the same rotors but Centric PosiQuiet Ceramic Pads for even less which is more of a daily driving pad.
If you lived near me I'd charge a case of premium beer for the install & flush

Sorry, missed your location. Might make a post "where to buy brake rotors & pads in Canada" in this regional folder & might shoot KNS brakes an email and see their shipping options.

Rock auto will ship to Canada. They will even let you place your order in Canadian dollars and include an exact price including duties and tax...they even ship some stuff from Canada..prices are way lower than any Canadian source except for napa on some stuff.

I've done things like this before to help out forum members who don't live in the US for other items they weren't able to get shipped. I'd buy the item for you and ship it and you just cover the costs. I'm a nice guy like that:-) my trader score vouches for it. I bought a guy a midnight grill and shipped it to England for him and he loved it... you can read his comment about it in my trader score reviews

Yes they are ripping you off aye. They saw a sucker and tried to take advantage. You can do the work yourself or have a smaller shop do it. Work doesn't have to be done by the steelership and you don't void any warranties by doing that either.

considering the quote is in Canadian dollars it may not be as bad as it appears..retail exchange rates means that whole bill is a little over 1000USD...the front brake work quote for a dealership isn't too bad...the flushes and rear caliper "service" are more than likely make work and could certainly be done elsewhere for far less even if necessary ...locally the fluids should be a lot less unless that includes a full tranny, front transfer case and and rear diff drain and fill...then thats not too bad either onsidering how much atf the tranny needs...for a dealership

oh and they're over charging on the labour for the ps flush and brake bleed for sure...1.8 hrs is way too high..but they may be including the cost of fluid ...maybe..maybe post your mileage and any known issues and you can get a better idea of the necessity of the fluid services...(it appears the front brake assessment is accurate that work appears necessary)
