Hey everyone! My name is Nicki, I just purchased a black 2013 G37 Journey sedan after several years of driving relatively boring vehicles. I was dying slowly inside...The sedan is still "responsible" but at least I have something with a respectable amount of power now that I can tinker with.

I'm a motor-head at heart that has been starving myself for far too long (yay adult-ing!). My dad & I bonded over modding and racing my first and second cars. It's how I met my husband...nothing says "I love you" quite like facing off at street legal drags at the drag strip...But candidly I've been out of the game so long, I'm extremely rusty, and the "use it or lose it" concept is proving itself true.

So, I'm here to soak in your knowledge and learn. I'll probably hover around in the background most of the time, but I'm sure I'll have some questions here & there. Looking forward to enjoying the community and getting back in the auto world a bit (hence the "remix" title!)

On a personal note, I grew up in Indianapolis, lived in Chicago area for a few years, and once we couldn't take the snow/cold anymore, we moved to Charlotte, NC where we are now. Any locals?

I am having some body work done on the car (the swirls were out of control), but will post pics as soon as I officially have her in the driveway!

Yep, Infiniti paint is SO swirl & chip prone, G/L keeping it fresh.
