I'm sure true winters will be better but I'll try to let these new AS' wear down first.

The star cap is on my hit list.
I'd love to smoke the lights but I keep hearing about the tickets they draw. I'll think on that a bit.
Definitely plan on blacking the grille, dropping the badges and blacking the rear Fuji
Dropping is on my list. It looks pricy so it will be a while.

I plan on painting the calipers red soon too. Replacement Akebono logos on the way.
You can GTR your taillights, that's what I did on my sedan, a much better look than a complete smoke and should keep the law off your back

Paint the inside of the lights. Or, since you're in NY, take them to ONEeighty, and make me jealous lol.

Awesome coupe; congrats. Do tell more about the invisible hitch mod! My road frame is a just a wee bit too big to fit in the trunk of my sedan, sans wheels. I hate the idea of destroying the beautiful lines of the G with a roof rack, so I'm looking at a hitch mount too.

Can I ask how the motor in the fx35 died? How many miles did it have on it?
Just curious, I didn't think the 3.5 or 3.7 were very prone to failure.

Don't ask.

No really, don't.

Okay then,
It went through oil like a sailor went through beer. I didn't keep up with the thirst. @ 181kmiles a connecting rod decided it no longer enjoyed it's relationship with the crankshaft.

It left a nice puddle on the roadside.

Did you see my DYI Hitch mod thread?
I'll let you know how it all works out when my 1UP rack arrives.

Ahh I see, sorry to hear that man, I was just wondering if it died with low mileage as that's unusual for these motors, but with an oil thirst and 181k I can see that. Sorry to bring up a sore subject, just wanted to know, but I figured it was an oil consumption issue.

20" Wheels and tires on.
I'm liking them.
I like the look, and they're not perceptibly harsher than the taller 19" DWS06 tires.
They seem more responsive maybe.
Still checking the change on mileage.

No worries, I was trying to kid.
Yeah it was a mess. I'm trying to find a replacement engine now.

Debadge to the Fuji looks really good on the Coupe with the OEM rear spoiler... good move.

Wheels look absolutely ridiculous. Needs more fake bolts and pin-striping.

At the pace your newbie thread is going, you could move it to the Build Threads, or start a new one. Although looking at these wheels, maybe not.

Welcome to the forum.

The car version is similar but rather different.
Hey, just b/c you saw a Jeep with the truck wheels doesn't mean the car version is inappropriate.
But I think I understand the purist mindset "Something like it was on a truck so it's wrong for a car"

I like em.

YMMV.
