In 2005 I bought a 350Z. My wife accused me of going into my second childhood. I told her she was wrong. I just put the first one on hold. Now a proud owner of a G37 Vert. Oh by the way I'm 66 years young.

the G37 is like an Oldsmobile compared to my previous cars.

on the plus side, i find myself driving slower in the G. my Evo pretty much encourages me to drive like a lunatic.

Hmm, I drove an evo and it felt tame as well. You most likely modded it though and I hope you do the same for your G.

just a Cobb stage 1 flash. really wakes it up.
maybe a catback for the G. i dont want to get into anything extreme. seems like just an intske is pricey and a PITA to install.

An Evo makes the G37 look like an Oldsmobile?... what an Oldsmobile 442?

Stock for stock the Evo is not significantly faster than a G37, sorry to

It may feel a lot faster because the G has tolerable NVH and the Evo is an EcoBox Lancer at heart.

chill out, not G bashing - i DID buy one.

stock, no. but its SOOO easy to make it ridiculously fast. low to mid 4 second 0-60 times with just a flash. the factory tune is super rich, just need to wake up the giant factory turbo.

i kinda see the G37 as a modern mini 928 - not terribly quick off the line, but a great highway cruiser, great handling and braking, and some luxury thrown in, too.

I agree, and I'm not Evo bashing, I actually like them. I just don't think I could live with one as a daily driver, but it seems that's your side piece, which is a sweet deal.

i daily drove it for 5 years. suspension is no less harsh than G sport package setup, comfy Recaros, great Rockford Fosgate stereo.
