Using iPod connected to Android hotspot?

I just purchased a 2013 g37x and was wanting a way to stream without buying an iPhone. Can I get a iPod touch hook it up to my phones Wi-Fi to use slacker, Pandora, spotify and audible?

Feels like besides splicing which I won't do or fm transmitting this maybe my only option before considering a iPhone.

That's an interesting idea. But for something more simple, you could buy a Bluetooth adapter that plugs in to the USB port where you would connect an apple device. Check this thread :
