NEW to forum. NEED HELP
Hey everyone!
I just bought my first car and love it to death. Picked up a 2009 G37s Coupe (black on black) and cannot stop smiling.
Only down side is, I drove it around the first night I picked it and ran into a clutch problem... Read through all the threads and seems that owners have been running into the same situation. Clutch getting stuck at some point and then the crazy burning clutch odor begins. I picked up the car at CarMax and have 5 days (ends Friday) to return the car (don't want to do that at allll...)
Was hoping there were a few options I may have to fix whatever problems there may be. I do not hear any loud rattling or anything like that with the car, so I think that's a good sign. Worst case scenario, I have to replace the clutch and everything...
If there are any suggestions as to what I can do, PLEASE HELP. I appreciate all comments and hope you guys can help me out. Being a noobie with the car, detailed answers would be great lol

Welcome. You are brand new to car ownership so you probably don't know this. TAKE IT BACK WHILE YOU CAN. What reason other than emotion would influence you to keep a car that you can return that you already KNOW has a bad clutch that will cost you $1K to $2K right off the bat?
Buy a different car that doesn't have a bad clutch. Buy yourself something with the money you don't have to spend replacing a clutch on a new (to you) car.

I guess I'm just so happy to have that car so I'm looking for an easy solution for that problem. The car is still running great but I've read that an easy fix is to just replace the clutch/brake fluid and clean it out. Another would be to adjust it.
I'm taking the car into CarMax Friday and basically saying if they don't check it out and make whatever repair necessary, I will return the car. That is the last resort. I just don't want to go through that entire car searching process again, especially since it took so long to find the car I have now.
