Hello, excited to finally own a G! Picked up a '13 6MT sedan a few weeks ago. I've been lurking here for a while and shopping on and off for over year, finally got the right numbers and pulled the trigger!

My prev car as a 2006 Altima SER, I loved this car and still a little bummed to see it go (had it for 7yrs), but picking up the G was a goal of mine for a while and the driving experience is MUCH different than the Atlima.

tomro99, how are the VLED bulbs holding up? I'd like to upgrade at least the rear plate light and door lights pretty soon, heard good things about VLED

The G37 is a nice upgrade. I'm sure you're loving the power difference.

You just can't really compare that old of an Altima and a new G37. Heck even that year of Altima and a 2013 Altma are in totally different leagues.

The power, RWD, steering and handling are all very different. Honestly don't think I'm ready to really push this car yet until I'm used to it (and waiting for break in period)

Still miss the Altima for the sentimental reasons, and IMO the SER has a great road presence (looks and sound), but performance wise, I agree with you, can't even compare them fairly

And thanks for the kind words, like most here I worked pretty hard to get to where I am, little luck along the way, but the rewards are certainly worth it

Vleds do hold up great btw, I had it on my sedan for 3 years and now they are on the coupe and they work great!
