Hi guys! I'm a new guy around here who might be sticking around for a bit. Looking at buying a new (used) car. Stumbled on the G37 autos as they fit the bill. Got pre approved from my bank and went and test drove a few cars. Test drove a G37 at the somewhat local Infiniti dealership. Loved it! Black in black g37 journey sedan auto with 29k on the clock. They were asking $25k and I offered $21. They countered with $22.5k and i said no thanks and walked.
That was yesterday and today I received an email from my salesman asking what they could do to earn my business. Still contemplating my next move, hopefully ill grab the car at a price I like. Thanks for reading!

You don't specify if you're looking at an all wheel drive or just rwd, but do yourself a favor and try to find one with the S trim. Not the sport appearance, but full sport package. You might like it if you're interested in something more performance/handling based.
When I was shopping, there were no base journey models available, just the awd models. I got 1/4 mile into the test drive and turned back. Was way too soft/mushy/slow_poor steering response, etc. Just didn't feel right. Test drove a few sport coupes and knew that was the trim i wanted (but with 4 doors).

Sorry, I'm interested in rwd only as is the car I'm looking at. I haven't even seen the S trims for sale, ill take a look. I'm more into luxury and a nice ride, but the journey seems to have a nice compromise. Handling isn't huge on my list though. Was that confusing? Haha. Thanks for the response.

G37S = Sport. Paddle shifters. Sport seats. Sport tunes suspension. (Depending on year), different front-end. Different wheels. Bigger brakes.
I got the S, for one main reason, it looks hella aggressive in the front with the lip.
