I'm still getting used to mine, and I still get the disconcerting feeling that the car is seriously PISSED OFF at me when I hit it to pass, and then go to slow down. It really reminds me of riding an impatient, young horse, who's champing the bit and thinking, "come on, old woman, let's GO"

Got a question guys. I already read the definitive oil thread but just to make sure. If I put mobile 1 synthetic in my G I should be fine correct? I'm just being paranoid because this is the first oil change with my G and the I don't know if the previous owners took it to the dealer or did it themselves. Thanks again.

Yea thanks a lot bro. I drive with my windows down all the time. I just had worries because the car was used and its my second car sometimes the exhaust sounds like there is water some where in it if that is possible. But when it hits like 3000 rpm it does kick in again. I had a pretty scary experience a couple weeks ago too. I was driving to school and this dumbass cuts me off on the highway when everyone was going 70 mph and brakes hard in front of me so I change lanes to avoid rear ending him and had to gun it to get back up to speed because there were other people in the lane I had changed into. All of a sudden the speedometer goes crazy and the car jumps up to around 7000 rpm almost redline and I put my foot off the gas to let it go back down and gently place my foot back on the gas and it jumped up again to around 6000 rpm. People I talked to said that it was the car trying to change gears. Its an automatic and my Accord never did that so I got really scared that I messed up the tranny or the engine in a major way.
At any rate I had paddle shifters installed so I could control the passing gear when I wanted to. The 08's may or may not have the wiring for them, but it's worth finding out.
