Goodbye RX-8...Hello G37xS Sedan!

Happy New Years Guys!

Picked her up on New Years Eve, MY12 Obsidian Black on Graphite, AWD, Premium Package, Sports Package, Navigation, illuminated side sills. Dealt with Infiniti of Columbus, and they've been a pleasure to work with. Can't wait to start modding (already have an Avery clear bra on it).

With only 9 miles on the ODO. Sorry for the cheese, can't stop smiling!

Hugging the 8, one last time.

Here's some more pics of the old car. It was a love & hate relationship. Very temperamental car. At the end of the day, I needed something more reliable as a daily driver, and can handle the occasional snow.

Nice I picked up almost same car on new years eve as well. I was a little uncomfortable in the sport seats so I went for the non sports.

Judging by the look of the RX8, your G is sure to be cleanly modded. Congrats and welcome! and don't feel bad. we all had that funny when we finally got our Gs.

I hope so! However, I am going with a different approach. I need to keep it daily drivable, and preferably comfortable. So definitely more conservative than the 8.

That's a very clean looking RX-8. You can do the same thing with the G and still have it be a great DD in the snow as well. Congrats and welcome! Did you get your license plate changed lol??

Lol, it was crooked because the dealer attempted to remove it for me, and stripped the bolt.

Thanks! I hope to keep the G as clean when modding. I'll need to come up with a different vanity plate.

I did keep the winter wheel/tire setup from 8. Thought I'd be able to reuse it. The diameter difference is greater than 3% from stock so I'm not sure if I will be able to use it. Thoughts?

Stock: 225/50/18 26.85" overall diameter
Winters: 245/40/18 25.71 overal diameter
4.25% variance

What's the worse that could happen?

Kudos on the upgrade...I'm a huge fan of the FC and FD RX-7s!!! The RX-8 just didn't hit the mark, but I must admit (with everyone else) yours looked clean! Nonetheless, I think you'll be happy with the switch.
