Cool New G37s owner from Switzerland

Hi G owners!

My name is Haider, 26. I'm french but I'm working in Swizerland close to Lausanne (Geneva area) since 1 year now.

Three months ago, I had the chance to fall on an american guy who was mutate to Geneva for work purposes and as a baby was also coming, he had to shift to something bigger (range rover).

In the same time, I was looking to buy a sport car and unfortunately nothing matches my budget or my taste. The closest model was a z370 (fairlady) but I didn't liked the non-luxury touch that could be found on mercedes, audi or lexus... And then I tested for the first time the G37s. I have to say that I was (and still am) totally amazed by the car, in every aspect. A bit heavy but very well proportionned, I enjoy it now since 2'000 miles (yeea still in miles as my car is imported from infiniti NY).

I was able to low down the price because of the body paint state which require me a new one next year. The wheels suffered also :S.

Next steps: new paint (still black... any suggestions are welcome: oem, mat, pearled...), new shoes (Vossen CV1 black version) and lowered a bit (need help but the forum seems to be very rich in info).
Next year, I will see for an engine/ drive train setup and some body work but always in this sport/luxury spirit, very sober and tasty!

I'm very happy to join you and I hope to meet some people if you come here in switzerland!

Now pictures!!

Welcome. I say keep the paint OEM; heard that matte finish is hard to maintain. Btw, why didnt you buy the 370GT, wouldnt be cheaper than imported Infiniti?

Thank you!

Yes, but the car was already imported when I bought it. I just benefit from all the paper work from the first owner and the price was really interresting in regards also to the rarity of the model here in switzerland as Infiniti just came by last year (the brand new S manual model for 71 000 CHF ).

The z is really cool, but I just prefered the overall aspect of the G when I saw it !

welcome to the forums!

Paint looks like it could use a quick buff to correct the factory swirls. I'd recommend to have a professional buff and you'll be in aww when you see the true color/reflection that comes out of our OB cars
