Hi from Houston

hi all, Josh here. i've been on here a while but didn't introduce myself yet.

i'm new to infinitis. had a civic in HS, a montero in college at UCLA, and my two feet for grad school at NYU. glad to finally be driving again.

i originally wanted to get the A5/S5 but the interior i did not like at all. that's always been my gripe with european cars.

i got my graph/graph 2010 sedan early sept and love it. i wanted OB/graph but they didn't have any with prem+navi. i originally wanted a 2D but decided a 4D was more practical for someone my age

moved to houston two months ago. all i do all day is read the forum, read books, play golf, and go to the gym because I haven't started my job yet. unfortunately, not having a job means not being able to buy too many mods. so it'll be a work in progress. i've never modded anything before. i used to laugh at the huge mufflers on some cars, who knew they were $600!? now look at me contemplating buying exhaust and vossen gt-30s.

my biggest problem with modding right now is storage. where do people store their stock parts? i live in an apt and don't know where my exhaust would go.
i also don't have a garage to work on my car (anyone know of any hobby garages in Houston?)

i do want to take the time to thank everyone for posting in the DIY and Modding sections. it has helped me a lot.

thus far:
re-tinted my windows the day after i drove it off the lot (told the guys i didn't even want that add-on)
interior LEDs (what a difference!)
spray tinted my tails a month ago (looks nice with the body color)

awaiting install:
r2c intake (from Kyle at iPP)
BB ground wire kit (fast shipping and service)
exterior LEDs and fog HID (garax are that good?) (any input on osram conv kit?) (we dont need a relay wire harness for hid conv, right?)

to do list:
rims (anyone have probs with 10.5s for rears on sedans?)
possible drop of 0.5-1" (will decide after rims go on)
exhaust of some type
headlight mod (still looking for inspiration)
(anyone know how this effect is done?)
)
grill mod (waiting for inspiration)
rear diffuser
.
.
.

anyway, nice to meet you all!

Welcome Josh. Come to a local meet soon and you can see what we've done to our cars and get all the inspiration/advice/help you'll need.

And thanks for your business.
