2 questions

Hi,

Just picked up a 2010 g37x coupe.

I have 200 miles on it.

I have 2 questions

After the car is off there is a smell of something burning. Is this normal since everything in the car is brand new.

The second question is on the steering wheel. I noticed that the car is very responsive to the turn of the wheel, however, it is not tight at all. Its very smooth in fact too smooth. Is this normal, or is there something wrong with the steering. I expected it to feel tight on especially on the curves.

Thanks

When I first picked up my G, I noticed burning smell too. The smell went away the next day. I went back to the dealer and had one of their tech checked it out. The guy said everything was fine and that its normal for a new car to have this smell the first few days.

If you want to be sure, just bring it back to the dealer and have them check it.

Congrats on your new G and good luck!

Had the smell with my 07 G coupe, not my 2010 so far. I had it checked out before and everything was normal. Just bring it in next time you're near the dealer to make sure. Congrats and welcome!

thanks

Is the steering okay. Feels very easy to turn at all speeds. It really doesnt make you feel the road on the turns. My lexus IS was very different on the curves.
