Are there "modes" for the automatic transmission?

no sir. for the transmission there are only Drive, Drive Sport and Manual.
Drive is normal - D - computer will make all the gear changes
Drive sport is moving the gear **** to the left of Drive - DS - the computer will make all the gear changes, it will hold the gear longer than in D
Manual is moving the gear **** up and down on your own - M - You are responsible for shifting up, the computer will downshift when coming to a stop
Snow mode is only for X models. This will lock the AWD system at 50/50
