Question Can Anyone Answer These 3 G37 Questions?

I bought my first '09 G37X <NOBR style="COLOR: darkgreen; FONT-SIZE: 100%; FONT-WEIGHT: normal" id=itxt_nobr_0_0>coupe</NOBR> 2 weeks ago and have 3 questions.

I would like to modify the exhaust for a power increase and better sound. However, I wish to do it myself and I do not want to spend over $800 if possible. Any suggestions? I was thinking of the Invidia Gemini.

When I shut the vehicle off. I get a warning beep until I exit the car and close the door. The lights are on Auto, the sunroof is closed, the key fab is in my pocket, the trunk is closed, etc. What else could that be?

How do you activate the audio/video system with the car off? Does the key fab need to be in the vehicle if the driver is not?

Thanks for any help!<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

1. I would suggest a used Tanabe. Super easy to install (about 30 minutes) and sounds amazing with no rasp. Match it up with a used Cobb accessport for a nice little gain (10-15hp). You could have both for under 800.

2. Make sure the car is all the way off before you open the door. If you open the door before the car is off, it will beep at you. If that is all it is, you have no worries.

3. Just push the start button once with your brake off the clutch/brake to turn on the stereo. Push it twice to turn on power to sunroof, windows, ac.

Fantastic! Thank you!
However, it's an automatic (all wheel drive) and the Accessport available says "Manual Transmission Only".

I agree on the Tanabe suggestion. Check out the vids on you tube.
