I am set on buying a 08-09 G37 Coupe - so much i recently sold off my car. Now I am on the hunt. I test drove my freinds, and WOW - fell in love with it.

I live close to Toronto, Ontario Canada - so if anyone knows of anyone selling or know one for sale - please let me know!

Hey welcome to the forum dude!

First off, which coupe are you looking for? You can get the "base" Journey coupe, the X coupe (all wheel drive), or the S coupe. Most I see in Toronto are X's. You can only get a 6 Speed manual with the S.

I gather that you are looking to buy used, right? I'd probably say stick to buying a car from a dealer...you might pay another $1000 but you never know what you're gonna end up with if you buy from a sketchy used car dealership or from a private seller. I bought my G from Guelph Infiniti, its about an hour outside of Toronto but they gave me a better price than any dealer in the city, so I'd recommend them. They had a decent stock of G coupes the last time I was there as well... I had a bad experience with downtown Infiniti one time when I took the car in for service there (couldn't make it out to Guelph that month) and won't be going back there.

If you know whether or not you want base/X/S/manual transmission I could look on autotrader for you, and see if anything comes up that looks decent.

We are trying to organize a lunch/cruise in July/August just outside of Mississauga (Milton area). If you have your G by then, it would be great to see you there! Where exactly do you live (you said close to Toronto).

 

HEY Canadian144 - yeah im looking or a "S" ...im not sure if a 6 spd is important to me - i also know i dont care for navigation. I just mainly need the manual transmission, and ipod integration..im open to other options. I dont want ALL WHEEL DRIVE - love RWD

i am going to call Guelph INFINITI tommorow - i spoke to someone there over email and said he has a new 2009...yeah im looking for a used one! having a hard time!

I live in Brampton Actually. I woud love to come to the meetup if i get one! lol..

When I bought my car from Guelph Infiniti, they gave us an awesome deal (since our previous G35x was also purchased from them). We got it in late December 09, they had a nice silver G37S w/ 6 speed and nav in the showroom, it was a beautiful car. I have some pictures of it as well LOL. They also have a nice GTR in the showroom haha.

In terms of pricing... I believe a new 2010 G37S coupe would sticker for about $54,000 w/ the tech package. Considering that it is now February (almost March!), they are getting 2010s in and still have a 2009, and it might be a showroom model that people sit in occasionally (if it is indeed a silver 6MT w/ black interior and tech package) then I'm sure they will be motivated to get rid of the car. Especially if you wait until closer to the end of the month. From what I've seen, 2008/09 G37S's with anywhere from 1000-35 000 km usually will run you about 40-43,000, if you could get them down to mid 40's then you'd bet getting a good deal (IMO). Even high 40's would be awesome for an 09.

As I'm sue you've looked on autotrader, there is an 09 G37S w/ the 6 speed at Downtown Infiniti (I wouldn't buy a car from those guys, but whatever!), they are asking $42,500ish for it, and it has no nav/tech and 290km (probably a test-drive vehicle). If you factor in that the tech is about $4,000, if you could get the G37S at Guelph Infiniti for 45/46 then you'd be getting a really good deal.

Well Boys! I bought a NEW G37S today!! Pearl White - i pick it up tommorow from Guelph Infiniti. Donie - Sales guy was great!

Was it a 6MT? And did it have the tech package? Just wondering lol. Also any accessories?

i got a new 2009 (has only 100 kms) - never registered (was sold - but guy failed financing - it was not avail. in the morning, but in the afternoon i got the call it didnt workout for the other guy). its a G37S, non-tech package as i have no use for the navi. its exactly what i was lookin for. has the dark interior with white stitching..and also i got the lifetime paint and leather protection. i got it for $41,500 + tax. 2.9% financing locked in rate - open - so i can put more money in on it anytime without penelty.

 

Awesome bro, that's a sick deal, almost $10,000 off!

I got the spray-on paint protection, leather protection, and rust-proofing underbody spray done. Can't wait to see your car though!
