335 to G37s I'm Crazy huh?
SFvalleyG37 I would of bought that white 335i from you in that wrecked condition ,, you would of seen it back on the road in couple of weeks.... don't want to sound like a bragger but that is 100% fixable ( Thats what I do) .... Welcome to the forum...I also have a G37 pearl white. nice choice btw. later will give G to my lady and get myself a 335xi . That would be a wish come true , don't get me wrong I always loved G's and forever will.

You'll be surprised what vendors charge for Bmw parts. Everything starts off at $1,000.
Full potential isn't known, one shop has put upgraded turbos and made 550whp on 100oct and Meth.
2010 should be interesting for that car, AMS has begun work on a turbo upgrade.
That white car was cursed... Long story short, I took the car to a bodyshop that took off with 15k of insurance money and closed down their operation.
He robbed me and others of money, car ended up in pieces and insurance just totaled it "Constructive total".
A loaded 335 sedan will run you $50,000, compared to a g37 coupe that cost $40,000.

Well not necessarily. It all depends on what packages the car has, AT or 6MT, the stage of TT you get, if you're going to install yourself, etc. Its not too optimistic to say you could get a G37+GTM TT in the low $50,000s.

Wow man thats crazy! They got off scot-free with 15k? Damn that really blows. 
Only had mine about 3 weeks but I know I still smile just looking at it in the garage.
The price differential between a 335 and g37 at any trim level is only about 6-9k
This differential becomes smaller when you factor in the fact that BMW's have a higher profit % between dealer cost and MSRP.
A properly equipped G37TT will cost as much as a M3 + bolt ons. Simple as that.

If he got the G because it's a better "full package" then I will agree with him, but if he bought it for performance, then I'm sorry to say he downgraded.
True, that's if you want to get the TT kit without a 3" exhaust or a tune or any other supporting mod (coolers) and do the install in your backyard
