335 to G37s I'm Crazy huh?

Hey

I'm new to the forum, just made a switch from owning a 335 to a G37s. I owed two 335i, totaled the first one within 3 months of owning it. Number of factors ended the car up on the curb and in a tree.

I then got another 335... Did everything to the motor I could at the time.... Dyno included.

Anyhow here are some pictures of my loaded G37s, I'll probably tackle the suspension this month. But really waiting on a solid FI kit that will work with my slush box.

Wow nice numbers on that 335! What happened to the 2nd one?

Welcome on board and congrats on the G37

Ouch... tree won that battle... not even a plate on the bimmer yet....

as for a FI kit, GTM is the place to go... they have a kit out for awhile now... they did quite a few installs... both AT and MT

Welcome. That 2nd 335i was nice, very good numbers. As for the G, GTM is really the only option right now for TT and they are working on SC too. If your worried about the auto tranny they make a valve body upgrade kit along with tranny coolers and stuff to to help out with a TT install.

Man your second 335i was HOT...especially the M6 wheels (reps?). Only problem with the BMW 3 series sedans for me is that I can't sit in the front seat without having my head touch the roof lol. I can barely fit in the G coupe, G sedan was also a barely touching situation.

BTW welcome to the boards, clean looking G37 coupe you got there!

Ya damn little tree did a lot of damage. Thanks for the info, do you know who has the AT and the GTM TT kit?

GTM has the TT kit. About a 90 minute drive out from where you are.

They can also do a shift kit for the slushbox.

Not common to see people go from the BMW to the Infiniti. What are your reasons? Most people go from Infiniti to BMW.

you should have kept the first one...that damage would buff right out.

seriously though, what was wrong with the 2nd 335? you got bored with 400whp?

So you went and bought a car with 280whp? Sounds reasonable :bowrofl:

I have to say that both 335i you owned looked awesome and with 400hp+ I don't see how you got bored. On the flip side the G coupe has tons of parts for you to add on and be entertained for a while. Welcome to the board and looking forward to see how your car comes along

Yes ofcourse, this car with 280whp can make 500-700 where as the 335i doesnt give you that option.

It is underpowered compared to his modded 335i but it makes up for it in creature comfort features and technology. Not to mention that it will far exceed power output if he decides to go TT or SC down the road. I'm actually surprise you even made that comment Sam :icon17:
