Suggestions for Subwoofer...Hometheater not car..

So yea I'm thinking about adding a sub to our home theater (Definitive Technology setup) and I'm leaning towards the SVS PB12-NSD/2 http://svsound.com/products-sub-box-isd2.cfm which i've heard great things about.....plus its pretty reasonable price wise.

Any comments/suggestions? Anyone have a SVS?

i thought about it, but the price for the same thing is crazy...its $899 from SVS for dual 12 inch drivers (they've had great reviews), where as the deftechs are $1999+

I don't know how big your room is, but 2 12's must hit pretty hard. I have a Boston single 10, and I have it turned to only 4 out of 10, and it hits enough for me. Although I'll concede that you can never have too much of a good thing.

3000 sq. feet? that sounds a little high. That room is HUGE then.
