Mine we left on too. I actually had them mount and balance new wheels, put them on, and then perform the alignment.

Alignments are usually done wheels on.

Update i had to go to a rim shop that does 24" and what not for 85 bucks and they were scared too because ogf the 10.5 inch wheel.Ntb wouldn't touch it tey were scarey too.

there's this place in Silver Spring called Radial Tire. They're REALLY good at mounting large wheels. It looks kind of like a hole in the wall place, but their service is really good as well. I always get my tires from them, and when I buy them there it's like $11/tire to mount and balance. Something rediculously low like that. They're good guys... I would give them a shot. They don't align cars though. And yes, they usually leave the wheels on to align your car. I don't see how else it can sit on the alignment machine!

Why would you take the wheels off when they are the very items being aligned, relative to the vehicle???
