yup, DOHC V6s tend to weigh and dimension out similar to a pushrod V8. DOHC 'V' engines are piggies.

Dual cams on top of the heads make the heads much larger than a pushrod head.

DOHC is much more complicated, much taller. the VQ35 is a quad cam engine with 4 cams.

There is lots of info in car & driver & motor trend, I think its marchs issues.
2008 will be a great year for car lovers. Lexus is in plans for a is coupe, also a new gt that looks like a lambo, of course the toyota supra, nsx has a new design but I don't remember if its a concept or not, there are lots of nissans coming out and lots of others. Check the mag out.
