Definitely know where you're coming from. My wife and I were on our way back from Louisiana in her coupe and we were driving through Atlanta (which is crazy, btw) when we had basically the same experience. I wanted to pass a column of traffic, so I moved into the far right lane (because the other lanes were stacked up with traffic). Unfortunately I couldn't see until I pulled out that the lane ended into a concrete wall in about 50 yards (there were no lane-about-to-end signs). So I had to try to merge back into traffic to not hit the wall at about 70, but of course nobody wants to let you in (apparently they're more interested in seeing the fireball than saving your life). So I end up cutting a truck off to get back in, and he proceeds to chase us through traffic for the next 10 miles or so. He cut other people off across three lanes, worse than what I did to him, just so he could get in front of me. When he does, he slams on the brakes, and though I can stop plenty faster than he can (thank you Brembo), I nearly get hit by the huge line of traffic behind me. Once he does that, he crosses back across several lanes of traffic, slams the brakes in another lane to get behind me, then cuts off the car behind me to get close again. He chases me at about 80 with no more than 2-3 feet between our bumpers. Of course he's waving his arms, cussing up a storm, flipping me off, etc. the whole way. Normally I would cuss the guy out, return the favor, etc., but I decided to try a new approach - I just didn't look at him. Didn't acknowledge his presence, the tailgating, the flipping me off and whatever else. My wife was watching him, and she said the more I ignored him, the madder he got.
Anway, we ended up calling the cops and outrunning the guy after a while, but I couldn't believe that he was mad enough about being cut off that he would cut off dozens of other drivers just to get back at me. Talk about a hypocrite.

People can be amazing. I'm telling you, having the priviledge of setting your own schedule and working from home has dropped my blood pressure and added years to my life. Just being in bumper to bumper rush hour traffic makes my skin crawl. THANK GOD!!!

Btw, MTBB - be careful around Germantown. Place is turning into the hood. I think it comes with the bus depot.
