you'll spend at least $600+ JUST for install on em...and for a negligible gain IMO...i think neffster had the crawford package (HF cats, plenum, headers and his 1/4 mile improved like .2 sec. thats *** IMHO for the amount of money spent on the mods. but headers are DEF a real PITA to install and dont give gains that justify the install headaches and/or costs...but thast just my opinion, id rather spend it on some sort of cats. easier install and showed much more for HP. Cats, or the motordyne lower plenum would be better mods IMHO.

strup headers seems pretty good. if you're getting it then you shouldn't sell the y pipe. keep the y pipe, buy some high flo's or test pipes. you'll get more out of the heads this way.

Headers are a great performance gain just a HUGE PIA install. You have to raise and lower the engine to get to all the bolts. Oh yeah you have to disconnect the steering linkage as well. Thats why not to many people have them.

definitley the motordyne mod is better like puria said. for 500 you'll get more gains than the headers.

ya headers are not a great performance gain on our cars. i would take that dyno sheet w/ a grain of salt...the best gains are from the crawfords from what i have seen and for 1k for headers and another 7-1k install...u'll get what...5-15hp?? for 2k??? naww...save another 2k and go FI if thast what you want....your gonna pay like $130/hp. with FI you get $35/HP...thats going by ~2k total install/parts for headers and 15HP which is very liberal.... (crawford) vs 5k for FI for like a vortech system for 150hp...which is about right. 03-04 G's show about 230 stock HP and most FI G's w/ vortech show 380-390 to the crank.

^^ yeah dyno is all bs... the companies just wanna sell their crap. exhaust.... and junk will be much more worth it after FI. That's "if" it's stil applicable. Some of the bolt on's we do are removed when going FI.

^^ headers with cats/test pipes, ypipe, and exhaust all together. But to say it's a "great" gain... LOL thats like Puria's nismo sticker and my aluminum pedals adding 40rwhp.

the guys over at 350z says if you do some hard runs right before getting emissions you can get away with it. Also...as long as you don't throw a cel i heard you can pass emissions. that's what i've heard.

How can ANY header be an easy install??? Look in the engine bay. You couldn't drop a quarter straight down!

heh, just going based off what they said.

Easy install does not require the motor to be lifted for clearance!
