gas mileage

I was reading on some other forums somewhere that the gas milage for a new coupe should improve after a while. Has anyone seen this? Or am I just going to be filling up after 250 miles all the time?

haha, 250 is pretty bad. What of driving/roads are you in?

I usually get between ~320 miles before a fill up of 15g or so.

Mileage will probably get better if you coupe is sitll breaking in.

macr, quit flooring the pedal everytime and you'll get better gas mileage I generally get around 20 MPG but I swear Im always stuck in traffic and stop and go so Im not really "enjoying" the car as much as I'd like to.

I had the same problem at first...I remember the first couple of weeks I was getting really bad mileage...but now, I get at least 300 miles which includes all the traffic I have to go through in the week.

Should get better...and with the gas prices going down, I feel less hesitant to press the gas.

300-320 would be a dream. The vortech helps a little but at the same time makes it so easy to get in it. lol I can get 300 on the highway down hill, but the best I can expect is around 280 maybe more if I'm lucky.

well i wanna see how much mileage i get w/ full tank.
i gotta drain all my 89 octanes;
i happened to put 89 octane about 5 or less gallon and trying not to fill it up until the gas light comes up.
well...now i have like...10 gallons of mixed 93 and 89 octanes.
that was off topic, sorry

I get about 19 MPG... but my driving is only on the weekends that i go home .. and i dont shift under 4k rpm ... i need to feel that power and hear it because i miss it when im at school. However, i actually averaged 28MPG on a trip to Canada over the summer. i was on a Cruise Control of 70mph for most of that trip and its all interstate Highway driving.
