I just called JBA's service department. He told me this is a major installation/modification because it requires a new control box, wire re-routing, and new antenna. Service charge and labor, 550$.

Sorry, I didn't have dealer installed Sat, nor did I install it on the roof - I preferred the stealth-look of rear dash. With that said, the OEM kit comes with instructions on how to mount the antenna to the roof and run the cable under the window trim, etc., but I do not know whether the dealer just used dbl sided tape for the roof antenna.

 

i got my xm antenna just chillin...came OEM like that...and my XM is disconnected since i have teh PAC audio adaptor...

 

Is there anyone in the club capable of performing this installation?
