clear bra rear panel

I posted this in the "g35 coupe" discussion, but maybe someone in the area could help....

I accidentally scratched my rear panel clear bra/guard that comes factory with most coupes....and I wanted to replace it. Has anyone done this before?
Which dealer should I go to?

Thanks!

I'd think going to a dealer would probably cost an arm and a leg as do most services offered there.

I'd suggest going to an actual clear bra installer - possibly the one SaltiDawg went to - he seems to only have good things to say about them. They also posted on this forum.

Hope that helps.

From what I've heard that piece is actually thicker than the clear bras people get installed on their car. I'd go to the dealer and have it done. Passport is a good place. How did you "scratch" it?

Im curious to know if a piece like that would be 'covered' under warranty or if its considered a 'wear and tear' item. Regardless, I think with enough of a fuss the dealer would probably be more than happy to fix it as I really dont see it costing them more than $100 in labor/parts....
