Help with cleaning the towhnome: No Moving etc.. involved

This is a task that would take us normally a weekend day to do but I wanted to ask if any of you guys would be willing to help touch up the towhome a bit before the new tenant moves in. The townhome will be completely empty, and all we are responsible for is:
  • Running shampooer over the floors (we're renting this)
  • Sweeping/Mopping solid floor surfaces
  • Minor paint touchup
  • Spot cleaning

The house is already in good shape (i.e. not hard work to do), but I want to make sure the tenant gets the place in the way it's expected to be vacated in.

Anyways, there will be food, food, and more food, music, and would love to give a tour of the new spot right down the street.

All in all, this wouldnt take anymore than about 2 hours with just a few people. We'll have everything ready to go.

I was looking at either Sunday the 24th or Saturday the 30th depending on what works better for anyone.
Thanks in Advance

I hired a cleaning service and a moving service. It's not that much around this area and definitely worth it.

Before we first moved in here, we paid nearly 300 bucks for cleaners to come in here and they did one of the most lackluster jobs I have seen. Only thing they did well was the Refrigerator.

I understand where you are coming from, but just had a bad experience. We are , however, paying movers. We aren't going the other route again. Way too much work heh. Id rather spend $100 in food and drinks and have friends over and get'er done.

You should revisit your marraige contract. Last I check, these chores are listed under "Wife's responsibilities" section
