30k mile service estimates

Im right at 28,200 miles on my 05 coupe and started asking about estimates for the 30k service. IOC is charging me 800 and Tysons is charging me 750. I was thinking of just oil change, auto trans fluid, and differential fluid which would cost like 450. What do you guys recommend or are there any other shops that can do it for much less. I think 800 is way too much.

You can pretty much do everything yourself if you have the time and maybe a friend to help.

either that or see one of our nissan or infiniti workers here on the forum. I had all my fluids changed along with front brakes for a hair over 2 bills.

Alright guys, just got an estimate with Victory Nissan of Chantilly for $344. They also have a 10% off special which brings it to around $300. I went ahead and made the appointment. Looks like I just saved $500 from switching dealers, the service specialist was laughing when he told me he gets several clients with infiniti's since the infiniti dealers charge way more. I'll let you all know how it goes.

if all you're doing is oil change and draining and filling the tranny and differientialm just buy the synthetic oild, and get the nissan tranny fluid from Dave at nissan and either do it yourself or bring it to some local place where they'll charge you like 30 minute of labor to do. I have a place in laurel called Lucas Performance that i've gone to for years. He charges me $15(no disposal fee or anything else) for oil changes and an extra $15 to drain and fill my tranny. I simply just bring my own fluid. It's always good to know a local place that you trust, you'll save a lot of money in the long run on small services that doesn't requires nissan "expertise".

Any MD peeps interested in Lucas, PM me. He hasn't worked with too many G/Zs, but he's a 300zx and Supra expert though. He's actually finishing up a 2jz swap into his 300zx with some huge T8x turbo connecting to a 5" downpipe/exhaust!!
