Guys,

I have an '04 6MT with approx. 43k miles. I have taken my G in to the dealerships for all the major maintenance: 15k, 30k, 45k.

I have noticed over time that it has gotten harder and harder to shift and I have noticed grinding on some of the gears when I try to shift hard past 4k RPM. Sometimes, it won't even shift into the gate and instead the shifter pops out to neutral during hard shifts into 3rd, 5th and 6th gear.

Will a routine transmission fluid alleviate/fix these problems or should I be talking to the dealership about this?

I've read some of the horror stories on this while I was searching the forums, but want to do some due diligence and garner some opinions before moving ahead.

you should still be under warranty. all previous transmission have had problems with synchros grinding.. go to infiniti of anapolis to have it replaced.

as long as ur not FI'ed ... they should replace it for free.
