I was reading one of the many tint threads out there a couple weeks ago. LEK said he had hookup for tint. I PM'd LEK and he decided to post his hookup's info since he had a lot of PMs about it. I called up Don on Monday and he was able to install the tint last night. Don put a ceramic tint on for me and it looks great! I'm very pleased with the work and how it turned out. On top of that Don was very nice and professional. I struggled on which tint I should get, I kept on going back and forth between 30% and 40%. The tint company didn't make a 35%. I have a OB (black) G with black interior and I was afraid that the 30% might be too much, so I went with the 40%. With the 40% and the factory protection, I have about 32%. If I went with the 30%, it would have been around 22%. I was afraid that might be too much. I'm really happy with the results. The dot matrix wasn't tinted. I was thinking about putting up something there, but I don't think I will. It is barely noticeable and doesn't look too bad. Don explained how it was a bad idea to tint over and I have to agree after hearing and seeing the side window with the matrix.

At first I was a little nervous because this was some guy I didn't know and I was dropping my baby off at his house. After talking to him, seeing his garage, and his portfolio I felt very comfortable. Don has over 10 years of experience doing this. Anyway, I got ceramic tint and the tint and installation appears to be top notch. On top of that it was only $170! Maybe after time something may go wrong with the tint and/or installation, but I don't think so. It looks very good! Besides, it has a lifetime warranty

Its good to hear you had a decent experience with Don. I'm waiting for infinti to get my door panel replaced then immedietly get it tinted. I'm 100 % sure they will scratch the damn tint. It turns out there's stuff they are very good at!

 

Lek is very helpful guy when it comes to tech.....
