Painted Rims?

Does anybody know where I can get my rims painted, or if how I can do it myself?

This is in Maryland, Va, or DC. I want to paint certain parts to match the color of the car.

Thanks

What color is your ride? I'd advise against doing it yourself. I highly advise not to paint OEM wheels as well.

my brother painted his rims himself, looked good, but started chipping after a while. I'd get a pro to do it since it'll probably be more durable. Are you doing OEM rims? if so, might just be better to invest in aftermarket.

I painted my rims on one of my other cars and they looked great for about a week. But like Khoa said they do tend to start chipping or scratching after a while. I would say go with powdercoating if you are going to do rims. It just holds up better and in the long run if you keep having to fix your painted wheels it will be cheaper.

Go see Keith at All Things Automotive 85 Richie Rd in Capitol Heights, MD. He can send them off and have them matched to the color code of your car. It usually takes like 3 days. He only charges like $50 bucks a wheel and thats definitley cheaper than most folks in the area.

i'm getting my rims painted to match too but they coming like that from the wheel company. i'd def. get a professional to do b/c it'd be a waste time and money if you did it yourself.
