Thumbs up IOC Scores Again!!!

When I cranked my car up, I heard a resonating sound coming from the car. I thought it was just due to the cold weather w/ the expanding and contracting (hot and cold) of the car. So I let it warm up and I came back and it was still making the sound. So I took it into Matt @ IOC to get it checked out. They took me into the shop and lifted the car to show me that the sound was actually coming from my exhaust. The gasket was burnt out and when the mechanic when to unbolt it, he found out that there was actually too much torque on the screws and when he untightened it, it cause the exhaust/muffler to shift and there was some leakage coming from back there as well.

Well overall, they fixed the problem, replaced the gasket and replaced the screws w/ heavy duty stainless steel ones and refit the exhaust to prevent any further leaking. Gary and Matt were both on hand and made sure everything was done right. I also got my free oil change as well.

All I can say is excellent service and professionalism 100%

not sure i buy into the idea that over torquing a bolt jointing the exhaust causes enough movement in the exhaust system to cause leaks. Exhaust system are built to handle minor movement and vibration, the flex joints..and the rubber hangers.
