I dunno about it just yet. So far, I think the current gen m3's and verts look a lot better than the new ones. Although.. that hard top conv "idea" is hot

Given all the rumors about having at least 400hp in the new M3s, I doubt it will be slower than the current 6-series. I've seen a lot of brand new 6-series around but don't see their numbers growing once the new more affordable M3s (affordable in the sense that it's less than a 6-series) comes out.
