the unreal engine 3.0 is really sweet, but the sad part is, direct x 10 boards coming out, such as the new geforce 8800 series ($600), already far surpasses this. if you take a look at crytek engine 2.0 vs unreal engine 3, the difference is huge. both xbox360 and ps3's video cards are already no longer top of the line in such a short period.

 

yeah, that was expected to happen. Better than most will afford to put in their computers at home though.
