On Friday, Saturday & Sunday, September 29 - October 1, 2006, Maryland Int'l Raceway welcomes the IHRA eMax Drag Racing Series to Budds Creek for the Torco Racing Fuels President's Cup Nationals - race ten of the 11-event national tour!
For the first time in MIR history, this spectacular event offers more NITRO power than ever before with the introduction of 320 mph Pro Nitro Funny Cars! You'll also see the stars in Pro Nitro Top Fuel Dragster including five-time (2001-2005) world champion Clay Millican, Doug Foley, Bruce Litton and Bobby Lagana Jr. - plus an amazing lineup of Pro Modifieds, Pro Stocks, Funny Cars and over 500 Top IHRA Sportsman racers in non-stop action!
Join the excitement as fans from far and wide come to see these wild machines showdown at this world record breaking facility. Take in the giant Manufacturers Midway, get autographs by your favorite drivers, and experience Bob Motz's 6-second, 200+mph Jet Powered Kenworth and Fireworks!
Go "backstage" and watch drivers tune their cars for the next round - get autographs, photos, team merchandise and more as every ticket includes a FREE pit pass! Friday General Admission is $30 for adults, Juniors 6-12 are $5 each. Saturday General Admission is $40 for adults, Juniors 6-12 are $5 each. Sunday General Admission is $30 for adults, Juniors 6-12 are $5 each. You can also save BIG with a 3-day Adult Super Pass for only $75.
Saturday Reserved Seating is limited and filling up fast! Call 301-884-9833 or go online to www.mirdrag.com to order reserved seats for only $10 each (admission purchased separately). Reserved seating guarantees your seat with a spectacular view regardless of when you get to the track, take a break to walk around or grab a bite to eat. Why waste time looking for new seat when you can own a premium seat all day Saturday & during the Night of Fire!
On Friday (September 29th), gates open at 8:00 am. Sportsman Qualifying (3 sessions) will start at 9:00 am, and Pro Qualifying (1 session) starts at 7:00 pm - ending with Bob Motz's 6-second, 200+mph Jet Powered Kenworth.
On Saturday, (September 30th), gates open at 8:00 am. Sportsman eliminations (Rd 1) will start at 10:00 am, Pro qualifying starts at 3:00 pm (there will also be a Pro Autograph session after the pro round). Sportsman eliminations (Rd 2) will start after the Pro round. Then at 7:00 pm, the Saturday "Night of Fire" starts with Pro qualifying followed by Fireworks and the Jet Kenworth.
On Sunday (October 1st), gates open at 8:00 am. Sportsman eliminations will start at 10:00 am, and Pro eliminations (Rd 1) start at 11:00 am. The Pre-race Ceremony will take place at 12:00 noon, followed by Pro eliminations (Rd 2) at 12:15 pm, Semi-finals at 2:15 pm and finals at 4:15 pm.

This is to se who is interested.If you have not seen the Kenworth ,it is worth the trip alone.Or if you have never seen these very fast body rumbling cars you must come.
