IPOD in the G

Hey guys, I've been using the FM transmitter with the IPOD in my coupe, but I've just noticed some ppl that have it "hooked" up with the car. How do I do this and what do I need to buy? Does anyone know how it's done? Thanks!!!

Get a PAC-AAI unit which takes RCA hookups. It'll use your SAT button behind your Bose system. Check out the A/V forums, many have done it.

I got a vent holder, charger from best buy for my 4GB mini. I also got the PAC audio unit and installed it and it plugs right into the headphone jack of the ipod.

I have figured out how to make the IPOD kit from the QX56 work in a G. It allows control of the IPOD through the factory controls.

you can buy a pac unit from MP3car.com where one of our members, Chuck is an affiliate. under the G35 section, you can buy everything you need to make an ipod work with the G35 and more. Also, Pat seems to have a great solution that integrates it even further so that you can control the ipod with your steering wheel buttons.

this is a good unit cuz you retain the steering wheel controls too. I think crutchfield has it for about 100 bucks.
