Nice but I rather get a house and F430 parked outside it. But that's just me. It's truly a monster of a vehicle but I'd be very paranoid of owning/driving one considering it's so rare.

Any car I can see my HP...is a good car and eliminates guessing like some others who believe they are putting out over 400 w/ an HKS exhaust, MREV and intake and cats.

That would take the Veyron out of the U.S. market. Meanwhile, the Saudis Princes and Euro playboys are the only ones who would have the privilege to own such a beast. While we can only look at it on the side line.

Most Americans laws are pretty stupid and backward, in my opinion. If a multi millionaire who can afford the Veyron and don't mind die driving it, who in the govt has the rights to tell him no? This is not a mass production car and the safety of the general public is in no way compromised. I think Uncle Sam should stay out of car business, just because it has the tendency to stick his nose in everybody's business.

Now I do agree that the goverment over does things, and could stand to loosen up. Many people that die in accidents are not at fault. I sure don't want some amature driver that happens to be filthy rich end a friends life because he bit off more than he could handle.

U both have good points, but if Bugatti has the know how to put together a 2million dollar Behemoth Y would they at least think to throw in a couple of air bags..I mean DUHH!!!! the damn car goes so fast that it doesn't even redline. an XTRA 125,000 dollars for the air bags wouldn't hurt the pockets of the people who are going to buy this car....
just my 2 cents

First, I don't think the airbags are going to cost $125K. Unless they are made of the finest silk and gold lined.

Second, they probably think the cars will never be driven by the owners. They go from factory to some private collector's warehouse.

Well that's what I saw today on t.v....it will cost them 125K & they don't want to do that because Bugatti will lose money...

Any car with 400+ hp should require training before they let you take it off the lot. Otherwise some German guy named "Dietrich" might crash your Enzo on a California highway then take off running. That said, I think GM was considering mandatory training when they start selling the Blue Devil.

I am not doubting you. The $125K probably all goes to redesigning the interior and electronics.

Same as Porsche TT. They don't make the new owners take a driving course, but they recommend anyone who is buying a TT to purchase a two-day course from them. I think European delivery for the TT includes a one-day course at Stuttgart.
