Anyone have Camera Mount info? Or suggestions?

Yes I already did a search and found a lot of info there. I just wanted to get some insight from y'all. The gf bought me a camcorder and I'm looking to get an in car camera mount for it so we can start video taping drives, meets, us busting on LEK, etc. I haven't seen anyone in the club with one (except for Chris from the old incarnation of the club). The searches both here at at my350z.com turned up a few possibilities. There's the stickypod and the gripper which are too expensive at $100+. I've narrowed it down to 2 possibilities:

The ChaseCam SM30 ($70):

http://www.chasecam.com/mounts-suction.htm
http://www.chasecam.com/store/custom...cat=248&page=1 (this is the combo package I want to buy)

or the CruiseCam ($60):

http://www.payntechnologies.com/(cbv...&ProductID=178

The CruiseCam is cheaper and looks more stable but doesn't give you much versatility. The ChaseCam is great b/c it can be mounted almost anywhere and since I'm getting the clamp/suction mount combo it gives even more flexibilty. Also I can loan whichever one I'm not using out. I'm worried about the ChaseCam b/c it says "Note, you need the SM31 Window Mount shown below in order the mount a camcorder to the inside of your windshield. The SM30 does not reach far enough to be able to attach to the bottom of a camcorder." I guess they think the camcorder will hit the windshield and not sit far enough away. The SM31 has a 3" extension arm but this guys site shows that the SM30 does work on a windshield and my camcorder is even smaller than his.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the ChaseCam combo but I wanted some last minute advice if anyone has any? Thanks!

The best mount is called a Passenger. chase cam is cool too, if not, just bring the g/f along or give it to another member with a passenger.

They're all too expensive. Although they do sell the CruiseCam for $45. Any other opinions, if not I'm gonna go with the ChaseCam.
