my buddy alberto on my350z blew his motor on friday.he was coming to the nissan antwerpen meet and it blew.so if anyone is thinking turbo get a real conservative tune,he had one and it still blew.2 holes in the block.

 

ohh no!!! so sorry to hear. he was making like close to 400whp right? our block is infamously weak

 

yeah, I am nervous about any FI for this motor period

 

yea 400whp and 396wt,im now kinda glad i went with the stillen way back when.the power is more linear and dosent have that spike of power like turbos do.thats what kills the turbos on stock blocks.

 

Ouch.....telll him I'll race him now!!...LOL

 

That sucks to hear. I think it's just a luck of the draw. People have been on stock flash for many miles, while some are beyond 400 daily driven. I wonder if him tracking his car often have an impact. I mean he did have one of the best n/a and FI times out there. I'm sure all of that punished the motor, probably more so the tranny. Just speculating.

That is bad news ,his car was hot.I guess he's gonna have to drive the beater probe till he gets it fixed.
