Drag Racing recommended tires

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I own a 2010 G37 AT Coupe.

What kind of low tread wear tires you recommend to use for drag racing.
I prefer to buy a set of new low tread wear tires, instead of buying semi slicks

Let me know you thoughts.

You want street tires with low tread wear rating? Check Tire Rack first. Since 24 Hours of Lemons requires 190+, consider anything with 180 or less as "sticky". I have Toyo 888R on my track-only Miata, I think they're 140. They have fairly deep sipes but not many of them. Yokohama makes several DOT rated tires that are really meant for the track.

Drag specific not-slicks that come to mind for me are the Mickey Thompson ET Streets S/S and the Nitto NT05R. Other than that I'm sure you can just do what slartibartfast said and just look at Tire Rack for your sub 200 treadwear tire needs.
