Quarter mile launch/tire question
So I have a 14 q60s 7at with 245/40-19 tires, Z1 rear subframe bushings and Z1 rear differential bushings. I can launch pretty decently around 1500rpm but as I approach 2000rpm I get some fairly bad wheel hop. I am assuming the 245 tires are not sufficient for the power and track prep. What size tires do you guys run and what is your launch rpm?
You should probably look to stiffer dampers and/or a diff brace. The diff brace is the cheapest of my suggestions or new tires.
With that said, I'm not a drag racer nor do I hoon.

I have a 7at with 3.692 gears, intake, exhaust, tune, 18" rpf1 rears. I also get bad wheel hop when I launch aggressively as well as spinning all 1st and 2nd.
I placed a order for rear subframe inserts and bell raceworks rear differential brace from Z1 performance. Still waiting for them to ship. Hoping those 2 will tighten down the rear end a bit more. Next upgrade would be 275s but im not sure what tires. I was told Nitto 555 G2s suck.
